Cabins and hidden getaways in the great outdoors have always been a luxury or a welcome opportunity to ‘clock out’. The need for simple living, tranquillity and being close to nature has only increased as the pace of life in society increases across virtually all parameters.
Lulu’s forest cottage
Lulu was in charge of renovating the old forest cottage. The cottage is situated in the woods and was in ruins when the project started. We collaborated with RAVN Arkitektur on rebuilding the property using the finest bricks, wood and burnt iron to create a rustic, practical and above all cosy and inviting atmosphere. Lulu also handled all the interior design and styling. The cottage is used as a summerhouse with nature literally on its doorstep – you can cook by the fire outside, sit by the fireplace indoors and enjoy the forest all year round.
