Multifunctional fire cabin
Placed in the grounds of a private residence, this multifunctional fire cabin adds an extra living space that can be enjoyed all year round. In winter, you can snuggle up beneath warm throws and blankets, toasting marshmallows over an open fire. In summer, the sliding glass doors let in abundant light and open easily to connect indoor and outdoor. Designed to be used in all kinds of weather, the house lets you take in the spectacular view throughout the changing seasons.
For comfort and barbecue
The majestic fireplace can be opened from both sides, inviting a range of uses: build a bonfire for a cosy spectacle, a fire for heat and comfort – or use it to barbecue delicious meals and treats. The attention to versatility and function continues in other details: heat lamps in the ceiling can turn chilly summer nights tropical and winter evenings warm and cosy at the flick of a switch. On hot days, the large glass sliding doors can be pushed away completely, transforming the house into a covered terrace. The house is decorated in a simple Nordic style with classic designs such as the Spanish Chair by Børge Mogensen, vintage fiberglass Eames chairs sourced from the American base in Berlin, and the iconic Hector Mesa dining table from Eberhart. The subtle, understated air makes this a calming retreat for every season.
